"This was a late night I need to grab something to eat and what I got tasted like I should have just made it in my own kitchen... literally so if you want a home cooked hook up meal yes order from here but bring them expectations down my cheese quesadillas was a flour tortilla and a slice of kraft cheese... which hit the spot but I could have got my laziness up and made one myself"
"The Fiesta Steak Quesadilla was bland. Much smaller than what the picture depicted. 1 part of the quesadilla didn't have any meat. Another had very little. Only 2 sections had meat and it was minimal. The quality and having to wait an hour for it to be ready (I waited 10 minutes longer than the time given to leave my house)."

"The Chana Saag is absolutely the best & the Vegetable Spring Rolls are so good! They usually give a small portion of rice with the saag so I always have to make more of my own or buy their side of rice but it would be nice if it came with an appropriate portion of rice for how big the entree is. But even still, their food is the best Indian food I've had!"
"I used to order from here all the time bc their Plain Naan is good. But tonight that was the only good part of my meal. The Veg Samosas were so tiny I used to eat only one and save the rest for lunch the next day but today they are half the size they used to be. The chicken vindaloo was closer to ketchup and franks red hot sauce than any actual Indian spices. The potatoes in the vindaloo were perfect circles as if they were out of a can. And the chicken was really fatty dark meat, all this for $40. I want the best for this place but today was not it."

"The Lamb Makhani (Butter Lamb) is astounding. The lamb is super tender and every bite is just a flavor bomb in your mouth. I also love that you can personalize the spice level, as I prefer it spicy and most places don't offer the choice when ordering online. Also love that when my food arrived (it was far so took a good chunk of time) it was piping hot! I will definitely order again."
"The Chicken Tikka Masala was awful, it was watered down as if they accidentally poured a lot of water into the dish. The sauce was extremely thin and flavorless, the chicken was dry. I tried my best but it was just pointless to chew on tough and tasteless food, I threw it in the trash sadly. Never in my life did I think I would say Indian food had No flavor, so disappointed in Begum.
The dish did not come with rice, I had to order it separately, which is normally not a problem, but the other two dishes ordered came with rice and the rice portion with those was twice the size of the tiny $7 side of rice!
The second worst dish was the Shrimp Coconut. This dish was also very thin / watered down. We did not have to throw this one away, but better quality was still expected.
I ordered from Begum years ago when a friend lived in Chatham, it was so very good. The sauces I remember were rich and flavorful, the meat was never tough.
After this experience, I can't trust to order from here again :/"

"The Butter Chicken was really tender. The Lamb Samosa were huge and filling. The Virgin Colada was tasty. The Onion Rings were good also. The portions were very generous. My go to for a weekend in and I just don't feel like cooking. "
"Really flavourful curries in the Vegetable Lunch. I liked the paneer makhani, malai kofta, saag paneer. Navratna korma was okay. Rice, naan and papad comes with it, which is all really good and fresh.
The Gobi Manchurian is okay. Kinda tasted burnt and not enough flavour really. Is say the quantity was also really less. "

I can't wait to try something new soon :-) also huge portions and great prices! "
"Butter chicken was tasty with a nice kick (even at a medium spice level). It's not advertised but it does come with white (basmati?) rice (that's good with the other food but had a slight metal taste by itself). Samosas were delicious-- savory & flakey. "The price is too high for the amount and quality of food. We used DoorDash all the time to get Indian food so it wasnt the distance the food traveled . The butter chicken was too salty and the flavor was closer to other dishes, not butter chicken.

"The dal was AMAZING! Spicy, flavorful and creamy. That dish was the highlight. The Paneer Tikka was very good as well, although I would have liked more vegetables in the dish. "Best Samosa Chaat in the world. Didnt specify spice level and it came somewhere between mild and medium. Excellent flavor. Chicken Tikka Masala was amazing. Came with veggies which I like. Not overly creamy. "
"Good, but too spicy hot for us, and you can't ask for less hot when you order. We enjoy food with a kick, but not to that extent. And yes, we eat Indian food regularly, understanding that it can be hot if you can't request a milder level of spiciness.
The chaat was excellent. The chicken biryani was well-flavored, with a very generous amount of chicken, but the chicken had a strong flavor, even with all the spices. It was all dark meat, so you expect a strong flavor. This just seemed quite pronounced to us. We picked it out and just ate the rice. I wouldn't order that dish again, but I'd try other menu items based on the good overall flavor."

"Idk where to start. Ok options, there's so many to choose from so you have your pick of the litter. Speed of service was great and time of arrival was accurate. Now for quality, omg the Chicken Tikka Masala was on point paired with the Garlic Naan. The portions I think reflect the price so no complaints there. Then the Gulab Jamun was the cherry on top. Anyone who likes donuts should definitely try it as a dessert. All in all great experience and will order here again!"
"Dear future self: The mild Tikka Masala is actually a medium on the upper border. It's almost too spicy but VERY tasty. However, there is not enough rice for two people to split an entree, so either order some extra rice or have some on hand. "

"Always on point, fresh, delicious, generous portions. Chicken biryani is our go to on a night in. Def order again"
"This was my favorite place for actual Indian. The new menu and recipes have lost the magic imo. Worst item was onion bhaji. Bhajis were oily and mushy like clumped fried paper towels. Seabass Moilee was like tilapia and very fishy. Salmon methi sauce was off. Lassis were tiny and sugary. Bread was stiff and bland. It felt like the chef was out, and random people cooked our meal. These days I get shrimp kadai from Basil if I need a fix."

"This was my first time trying this and I loved it so much. The naan was so soft and went extremely well with the butter chicken. Although I didn't really like the portion size. I was still a little bit hungry but the food was amazing"
"Combos are good price. The gobi Manchurian is better than the Gobi 65. Portions are big, had to split with friends. Unfortunately, some veggies in the noodles were undercooked.
I would order again for th Gobi Manchurian or Paneer 65."

"Great place, Great prices, Great portions. The Daal was so good and actually spicy, they sent sauces with the papadum and allot of places don't do that over door dash. My new favorite indian spot"
"The paneer masala was completely tasteless and had no salt at all. It was very simple and extremely oily. The packaging was also very poor—the container was leaking, and the food spilled all over the bag.
On top of that, the food was not properly cooked. Some of the garlic naan was overcooked, while another piece was completely raw. Overall, the quality was very disappointing. The food was tasteless, poorly prepared, and very expensive for what was provided. Definitely not worth the price."

"We absolutely love their Chicken Kathi Roll & Paneer Kathi Roll, our go-to orders for lunch or dinner. "Hands down the best Indian restaurant in New Jersey. Every dish was uniquely delicious and carefully packaged. Outstanding flavor. AND the portions are great---plenty of leftovers. I could taste the love in this meal!"
"Our go to is the Butter Chicken, Rogan Josh Lamb / Lamb Bhuna (all selected spicy) and doesn't disappoint! You can tell that it's fresh with their original spices & ingredients which packs it with flavor. You can't go wrong with the Garlic Naan either, which you also kind of need to finish off the delicious sauce that's left at the end. Tried other Indian restaurants when these guys were temporarily closed when I think they were changing locations, and none of them compared to Dhaba! If you're looking for authentic Indian cuisine, you won't regret trying this place out."

"The portion is too small for the money they charge but the food tastes good "
"We ordered 1 Kashmiri Naan and 2 Garlic Naan they were all 3 burnt and so hard to chew.
Paneer Butter Masala had extremely hard paneer pieces not fresh at all.
Veg Jalfrezi had mostly potatoes and tiny bit of other vegetables.
Really disappointed with food as we are a big fan of A2b for North Indian cuisine inspite of its each of dishes being more expensive then other local restaurants, we never experienced quality being compromised.
This time it made us really question why did we order from A2b"
