"Everything always tastes delicious but the order is never quite right... I paid for large lobster tails, got small ones.... they're half the size of the large ones so when the price isn't adjusted accordingly it's annoying... will still order from here but the order isn't ever quite right... even when I paid $500 for a cake for my daughters first birthday they got the design and fillings all wrong. It was delicious but not quite right..: just don't expect perfection with this bakery and you'll be much happier. As I said tho, everything is always delicious!!!!"

"Just ordered for the first time from this place and what a revelation! I’m a big food snob originally from Karachi, Pakistan. Fantastic food 8.7/10! Highly recommended, this is better than most other Pakistani restaurants in the area. Very good job!
I got the behari paratha roll, bun kabab, and the halwa puri. Everything was amazing and SUPER AUTHENTIC!
The halwa had just the right amount of sweetness and cooked to perfection. The puris were perfectly fried, the aaloo tarkaari was spiced just right, the quantity of the food is incredible too, I was not able to finish the halwa puri, enough for two meals. The only thing that could be better was the achaar, please give authentic Pakistani achaar like Shan or National.
The bun kabab was very authentic, more daal in the kabab than meat, just like back home. The bun kabab would benefit from a sweeter tomato sauce like back home. But overall one of the best bun kababs I’ve had in NJ.
The behari kabab paratha roll was innovative in how it was portioned like a quesadilla, very interesting. The behari kabab was super soft and melted in my mouth just like back home. The paratha was whole wheat and should be of maida flour like back home. The chutneys were on point though. Once again the quantity was amazing.
Very good job guys!"
"Chicken Tikka Cheese Paratha The portion size was worth the price. Very well packaged but was missing cheese. There was no masala or spice taste to the chicken. could have used some chutney or sauces as complimentary sides. Just red colored chicken pieces sandwiches between buttered roti, not paratha. try to add some spicy sauce or flavours."

"The Dinner Special was great I just didn't like how little protein it came with (by that I mean your choice of protein, as Red Lentil Soup has protein). Flavor was great (needed a little more salt). The salad need more parsley, if I'm going to be honest."
"The portion sizes are very small in meat. I received tiny lamb kebabs. Usually from other places they are triple the size. I wish the menu would say if one skewer or two are included and how many pieces like other places. The food is super tasty however. Especially the chicken Adana. I guess the wallet friendly prices reflect in food portion size but still for the price there should be a bit more on meat servings. The iskendar kebab was really good. "

"Get the special! You get so much food and it's so tasty! This is my first time trying this place but I had to leave a review! So many Indian restaurants don't give you both sauces when you get samosa - you get two nice sized samosa and tamarind sauce and chutney. The korma was delicious, though I wish it was a bit spicier. The special is great deal! I will definitely be ordering again. "
"I may have ate before taking pictures but I couldn't resist. Some of the best Indian food I've had! Portions are solid, freshness could use a tiny bit of work as some of the Chicken Korma pieces were tough but still amazing tasting. I will 100% be ordering many many times again! Garlic Naan was amazing, however I would order 2 orders next time if you have two people or more. Butternut Squash Soup is amazing as well - nice spice taste while keeping a super creamy consistency."

"This is the best Indian food in bergen county hands down. Prawns are incredible, as is lamb biryani."
"Good quality place. The food is rooted in authenticity, but has some nice nuances of their own. The Samosa Chat is very similar to what I used to get out of the cart when I worked abroad. Still looking for that magic bowl of chole that reminds me of the street vendor variety. The vindaloo was amazing. The Gosht was very flavorful and the lamb was the perfect texture and thickness. I like it thinner like gyro meat. The prawns were ok. I imagine if I ate them fresh they would've been better but some dishes can't overcome the 20-30 min in the car, especially shrimp. All in all very flavorful and decent portion size for the price point when considering it's delivery. Will get it again "

"Delivery time was exactly what they said it would be. I'm old fashioned, I tip in person so the delivery guy knocked on the door and I showed my appreciation for the on time drop off $$. Food was still hot, thumbs up - as for the butter chicken l was surprised that it didn't have a little kick to it (spicy heat) chicken could have been a bit more tender - the only down side is the plain naan price for 3.50, l can get a large cheese naan at that cost. Overall I would order from them again. "

"Expensive but everything is insanely delicious. Perfect level of standard spiciness. For me at least. In my opinion the quality is worth the semi exorbitant price."
"This was my favorite place for actual Indian. The new menu and recipes have lost the magic imo. Worst item was onion bhaji. Bhajis were oily and mushy like clumped fried paper towels. Seabass Moilee was like tilapia and very fishy. Salmon methi sauce was off. Lassis were tiny and sugary. Bread was stiff and bland. It felt like the chef was out, and random people cooked our meal. These days I get shrimp kadai from Basil if I need a fix."

"We absolutely love their Chicken Kathi Roll & Paneer Kathi Roll, our go-to orders for lunch or dinner. "Lamb Over Rice NEVER disappoints!! Portion size is great but I always get extra meat! They put the flames in Gyro Flames!! It's always super hot when it arrives and I definitely order this over and over lol!"
"The flavor of the jerk chicken is so good yall. It was warm and the white sauce has a subtle sweetness to it that compliments the spicy chicken well. They give you the whole platter. I got it a couple times now and it's so yummies. I wish there was more salad but it tastes good with the french fries added on top which are still crispy despite being on the platter."

"I don't usually write reviews, but Dhamaal really blew me away. Not only do you get SO much food for a great price, it's also excellent quality. Some of the best butter chicken I've had! The only thing I'd do differently is order MORE naan, it was incredible and I couldn't enough of it. Highly recommend and will definitely be ordering from here again!"
"This is the most overpriced meal I ever ordered. The Ajwani Salmon Tikka was $30 and came with three small pieces of salmon. The Chicken Malai Tikka (pictured) was just as small and was super dry and was $26. Tha garlic nan was flat and had no flavor. I can't believe this meal cost close to $100. "

"The flavor is unbeatable here. Portion sizes are huge. It might be a chopped cheese spot but the wings and smash burgers are amazing too. Honestly wouldn't go anywhere else in the area for a smashburger when you could just go here... my order is the chicken/beef combo chopped cheese or the big chapli smash."
"Wow! Absolutely delicious. I got the loaded fries and wings. Huge portions and super fresh. You can tell the wings are made with love and the loaded fries are filled with all the right flavors. I will be getting this as my weekly treat every week!"

"Amazing authentic momo. Loved the comforting taste after a long day of travel."
"I ordered veggie chowmein and veggie momo jhol. The food was tasty and fresh, with flavors close to Indian taste. The momos were soft and the jhol was very good. Everything was packed separately the momos and jhol were not mixed, which I really liked. The packaging was clean and strong for pickup. Very good place, I recommend it."

"The food is packaged well. The Build Your Own Bowl portion is decent, but it does not compare to a Chipotle burrito bowl. I understand that Indian food can be expensive, and since they were offering a BOGO deal on the bowls, I do not have major complaints there.
As for the taste, it was just average. It did not feel very fresh. The rice quality was poor, and the chicken tikka tasted stale, possibly because of the BOGO offer.
The chole bhature was disappointing. I did not enjoy it at all."
"This place is so good. I was surprised at how amazing this food was because it's actually affordable. I loved the bowl. It was such a fresh delicious take on butter chicken and a great portion size. I can't wait to try everything on the menu."

"Hands down the best Indian restaurant in New Jersey. Every dish was uniquely delicious and carefully packaged. Outstanding flavor. AND the portions are great---plenty of leftovers. I could taste the love in this meal!"
"Our go to is the Butter Chicken, Rogan Josh Lamb / Lamb Bhuna (all selected spicy) and doesn't disappoint! You can tell that it's fresh with their original spices & ingredients which packs it with flavor. You can't go wrong with the Garlic Naan either, which you also kind of need to finish off the delicious sauce that's left at the end. Tried other Indian restaurants when these guys were temporarily closed when I think they were changing locations, and none of them compared to Dhaba! If you're looking for authentic Indian cuisine, you won't regret trying this place out."

"I've enjoyed other Shah's locations in the past. Ordered extra meat and received less than what I consider regular. The meat was overdone but the rest of the platter was decent. Pro is the number of toppings included, but I cant recommend it unless the meat quality and quantity improve similar to how I have experienced at other locations. "
"I ordered the combo and I received a spoon of chicken and a spoon of lamb and the bottom of the rice pan which was burnt. I will not order from here again, and the pita bread tasted old."
