"I've had better to call this jerk chicken pasta with no spice to it should be illegal the flavor was very bland and the sauce tasted as if it was watered down heavy whipping cream. The portion amount was okay and no I would never order this again"

"I received my order and when I opened it, there were obviously way too many bones. So I decided to pick the bones out and see how much meat was left. "Do NOT order the Oxtail Special altogether I spent $22 and this is literally all of the "meat" I received. Practically just bones. The flavors were fine but it's no value for the money. I'm not a greedy person, I would've been satisfied with 2-3 oxtails with some actual meat on the bone. But this is unacceptable. I could've spent $22 on a full sized oxtail meal elsewhere."

"I ordered "Normal" fried pork, however, I received fried pork in stew. Also, I was really looking forward to some good pikliz but it was sweet. Sweet pikliz!!! "Not too bad! The jerk chicken (dark meat) had a nice smoky flavor and, most importantly, wasn’t dry. It was refreshing to have jerk Jerk Chicken (Dark Meat) that was actually moist and flavorful. The rice was also really good, not like some other Jamaican restaurants where the rice and peas can be dry. This rice was moist, well-seasoned, and had plenty of flavor. The only problem is I ordered a patty and they were out of Beef Patty and I didn't know until I got my order that they were out. Definitely will try this place again though."

"The Fried Chicken was burnt, I always ordered white meat and very few times I get a piece of breast. It's always two wings and a piece of back of the breast or some scraps. The rice is hard at times and most times have no color because they don't use enough peas.

"The jerk chicken isn't dry, it's very good and the rice and peas is a good complement. Veggies are consistently fresh. Great value, I've ordered this a few times and each time the flavor and portions are consistent. Very filling meal for the price!"
"Are you kidding me?!!
Are you telling me that I had to come all the way to Florida on business to find one of the best, most flavorful meals?!!
The Jerk Pork is amazing...so tender!
The Jerk Chicken & Shrimp Pasta is so good. I think I'm picking up notes of cumin? Nutmeg?
And the portions are crazy big!
Definitely give Island Vybz a try...great comfort food!"

"Delicious, closest to my mummy's tassot dine that I've been able to find in South FL in over a decade. Pikliz needed more cabbage and carrots in my opinion but that's my preference (I prefer a crunchier pikliz) but the flavor and spice level were very good. Banan peze on point. Diri djon djon very tasty. Diri kole was SO good. 10/10
Also laughing at the other review that stated she "didn't like it" but also thumbs upped all three of the dishes she ordered... "DoorDash Emerging Expert" is an interesting qualifier for congnitive dissonance. Maybe she was seeking a refund but couldn't lie on them flavors? But that’s none of my business though."
"The food absolutely amazing!! The Fried Pork (Griot) has so much flavor! You can taste the freshness and love in everything! The Sitwonade (Haitian Limeade)is the perfect touch to bring all the flavors together! This is my new spot when in the area!"

"Everything was delicious , fresh and perfectly cooked. The griot was awesome, the fries were unique and delicious and the sauce (gravy) makes the rice taste sooooo good. I'd recommend ordering 2 extra sauce cups for the rice cause 1 isn't enough for all the food you get. "
"OMGosh the taste was amazing. The chicken was seasoned perfectly and fresh the rice was on point. I would definitely order this again and it was also a lot of food too."

"Family Meal Two is a pretty good deal. We ordered and have enough to eat tomorrow. The chicken was the best in my opinion along with the garlic potatoes. Rice & Beans were ok, not my favorite as the beans were a bit soupy and not enough Beans if that makes sense. But I'd order again."
"Meal 3 was ddelicious, so good I didnt even notice the sauces until day 2. all 3 were fire. got the potatoes and roasted plantains- fire. Reg Mixed Vegetables were perfectly steamed and not at all mushy. I feel healthier for having eaten this. my life is improved. "This meal was amazing. The chicken was well seasoned fried to perfection. The rice was perfectly balanced in between soft and firm and the taste was just right. The macaroni was a nice little creamy touch i tasted the seasoning and it was not dry at all. The plantains were friend just right for me I don't like plantains fried to hard and they hit it perfect. Love the meal well worth the cost."
"The best Griot I've eaten. The griot is NOT greasy with bitter taste like many I'veconsumed in the past. The griot is fresh and seasoned to perfection at every purchase as I consume the meal."

"Very delicious conch and yams super sweet collards were nicely spiced I can taste a hint of vinegar and that sauce that came with conch was very fitting. This place is delicious but the portion size is very small. Very small portions for 24 "
"I could not eat the seafood rice as it smelled really fishy (spoiled ). The Mac and cheese was also inconsistent with flavor and texture. Unfortunately I definitely won't be ordering from here again. The food was not fresh. And the portions size could have been better , for an expensive order I definitely expected better."

"I'm from Charleston, South Carolina and every time I come to Fort Lauderdale this is the place I go to to get my Cuban sandwich. I wish there was one closer. I'll be back in August so I'll be probably eating a Cuban sandwich every day for four days while I'm there. "
"Tasteless. No flavor on the steak. No salt. Chewy. Yuca was bland. French fries have no seasoning nor salt. Moro rice was too soft and tasteless. The food doesn't taste that fresh. Would not order again. I had to add Goya Sazon for flavor. Disappointed. Plus, for the price, I expected better. La Carrera would have been way less in price, with more food and a en Cuban flavor."
