"The butter chicken poutine was excellent, and the wrap was a very good size. The gulub jamun was delicious, as was the mango lassi. They took extra care to wrap the lassi and gulub jamun in plastic wrap so nothing would be spilled in the bag, which was an extra touch that I appreciated."
"The 129. Paneer Makhni was pretty good, tasted very fresh, and the rice was perfect. The proportions for those two items were good. The naan bread was honestly terrible, I was extremely disappointed, it was burnt, seemed stale, and over priced, $5.99 for only one and it was the way it was? I expect it to come with two. Overall it was a pleasant experience, even though the naan bread was a huge disappointment."

"The food was not particularly flavourful compared to other indian restaurants I've been to. The lamb in the Lamb Biryani was very dry and the rice did not taste like it was seasoned at all. "It is generally poor value for your money. I ordered the shrimp curry and there were seven pieces of shrimp in a thin sauce. The paneer at least had a sauce with some substance, but there were 8 pieces of paneer in total. Even if you sharing with just two people, that's four or less pieces each. "This place rarely disappoints! I usually just send my reviews to them alone...but, for once, I'll send it out to everyone. If you need good Indian cuisine, look no further!!! P.S. At one point, I gave them feedback about their Beef Vindaloo with Potatoes , because, well, "Where's the beef?" -- that's a quote from, of all places, Wendy's, LOL. Anyway, they listened to my private complaints about that, and they updated their website accordingly. The Saag Lamb is so good -- I mean, everything good at this place, with good prices, and quick delivery (even in the pouring rain -- extra $ for the driver)."

"Amritsari Kulcha 1 pc taste damn good and I can say it because I'm from that city where this belongs. I have eaten Kulcha for 27 years.
The only thing I've given 4* because of Chaat papri, i felt the quantity was less when comparing with price. Also, the taste is not good to deserve 5*."

"I think the value of this meal was great for the amount of food you get but at the same time, I wish there was more meat. I got maybe 7 pieces of chicken in the entire bowl I got. Otherwise it tasted very good and the vegetable quality was great. I don't think I would get this again unless I got a 2 for 1 deal because it doesn't feel worth $17."
"This is too good and a pretty good portion for this deal of buy 1 get 1. I put sweet sauce on mine and I do not regret It.
I haven't ordered from here in a few years, but it's still 10/10 just as I remember it!! Love it here <3"

"Their foods quantity and quality is amazing but I ordered their Lunch Thaali today with Tandoori Roti and there was only qty-1 of the roti with the Vegetable Sabzi Meal which is not enough roti for one person for a meal. "I got the very same thing every time I visit Ottawa Shawarma.
It is consistently fresh delicious and perfectly made. I savour every bite!
They also graciously cut it into for me each time as I always get a large sandwich.
I would give them 10 stars if that were an option. The portion size is just perfect."
"I have been a client of Ottawa Shawarma since they opened.
I won't put in writing how many times I've been though, lol! But I can confidently tell you that they know me well enough to recognize that I would like my large sandwich cut into when I order. Depending upon who is prepping my food, they remember or there's a moment of recognition when I make the request, like this is the lady who's in here so very much!
The staff always warmly welcome me and the food is always exceptional. Consistently delicious, so fresh and generous with both the chicken and the veggies on my chicken sandwich.
I must confess that I don't know anything about their other selections as I only ever get the very same thing.!
On occasion, I also get their supremely tasty potatoes with garlic sauce and it is bliss. I save every bite.
I don't go to any other Shawarma place even though there are a few between my house and this location.
I know five stars is a high rating, but I would give them 10! Once you try their Shawarma, you won't want anyone else's!
I absolutely love Ottawa Shawarma.
I see that they like a photo of the food, but it never lasts long enough for me to take a picture."

"Excellent services !
I recently ordered from this restaurant, and I have to say, the experience was fantastic! The delivery was prompt, The food was flavorful and perfectly prepared, Excellent service, I'll definitely be ordering again. Keep up the great work!"
"The quantity and quality were poor. The packing was bad; the brown bag was wet and torn. The lid was already opened inside the bag. There was very little chicken, and they charged $20, and the portion size was very small. At least, if it had more chicken and egg, it could compensate. There were no sides, just a parotta mixed in a gravy. No garnish, no coriander leaf, no chopped onions. Disappointed. Paid all together $30 for 1 kothu including tax, delivery, and tip."
