• 3 days agoPizzeria Delfina has always produced delicious, thoughtful, beautifully prepared food. They are loved in San Francisco, and rightfully so. I have eaten there since the very beginning long before the enlarged addition. Among the antipasti, the Brown Butter Polenta is soulful and a bit salty. It was being offered as a 2 for 1 option today. I ordered via Door-Dash. I understand these are difficult times---BUT----each small carton had about 4 tablespoons of Polenta. That was the full portion. Disappointing.

• 7/25/26My husband and I have been going to Delfina ever since they opened. Way before they expanded and built the larger restaurant they run today. We ordered the Tagliatelle last evening only to be disappointed for the last time. It was dry, very small amount of meat on it and tasteless. For 36.50, anyone would expect a plate of pasta to at least have some flavor and ragu that covered the noodles. This is the last time for us to be disappointed. They're getting cheap with their portions and that's on them. Not the customers.

• 9/30/24This is delicious, probably the best tagliatelle al ragù I've ever had. That said, be ware that it's an extremely small portion and I don't think it's worth $30. For this price, it should be twice the size.

• 5/6/26Love Delfina. Always a go to. Excellent food delivered or in restaurant. Best Italian pizza ever - thin and crispy crust.

• 9/21/22As usual, Delfina knocked it out of the park. We love the Salsiccia, Neopolitan Meatballs in Sugo, Insalata Tricolore, Spaghetti Pomodoro.
One comment on price. $28 for the Spaghetti Pomodoro is ridiculous given how much cheaper it used to be. Hopefully this is just a post-COVID thing we need to see that price go back down.
The Side of Tomato Sauce was delicious, but the portion was so small. I would hope/expect 50% more than we received.
