"the E11. General Tso / 左宗 chicken was HANDS DOWN the BEST I have EVER HAD!! I love the chilli oil on the side, I could literally eat here at least once a week! my Hubby had the E12. Mixed Vegetables / 什蔬
and put a note in to make it like you would for yourselves. He said was a little too much fish sauce for his liking, but the spicey aspect was AMAZING! He said it's so hot but I can't quit eating it!! it's so good!!!
We will be back! the food here was absolutely perfection, hot when it came and for the price huge portions!!"
"This place is excellent. The food has been tasty, quick, and affordable every time. I've enjoyed and been satisfied with everything I've ever ordered from here. The fried rice is savory and tasty. The Rangoon are always puffy yet flaky. The sweet and sour chicken always crispy as if fresh out of the frier even after being delivered."

"Ordered around 5:30, arrived at 6pm. Insane delivery speed and food quality was brilliant!!
Boneless Wings were sauced perfectly, crunchy, and warm.
Potatoe Wedges were also warm and crispy!!
Thanks DD & B-Dubs for a 10/10 experience."
"over all solid burger. the Mushroom Swiss Burger was great the macBacon Mac & Cheese Burger for some reason had grilled onions i didnt order. it was still very good. the potato Tater Trio was well cooked smothered in cheese and bacon could have used more cheese. was burned on and made it dry but still tasty. I had also ordered it with chili. truly gluttoness. was so excited until I saw that my 2.50 in chili was 3 tiny sample containers you know the tiny lidded black ones that hold about a quarter size maybe a tea spoon. so my giant side of tater came with three tea spoons of chili. it was not moist either dont know how such a tiny quantity would be. skip the chili it was mid and really didnt have any anyways. that was the only disappointment. otherwise great will call it 4 stars for excellent burgers minus one for tiny chili if it was the dollar add on I get the tiny amount but its 3 bucks so id like at least a ladel hell charge me 5 or 10 I just want a fair portion."

"Wanted to give this higher. Food was fresh and tasty. 3 issues. I paid 5.50 extra for steak and got maybe 2oz. That's like 34.00 per pound steak. Need more for 5.50. Also got 2 tiny cups of spicy yogurt dressing. Each cup was half full. You and I both know you can fill those up. Finally, the olives. The olives were saltier than this review. You must have stored them in actual salt. Way beyond normal."

"I was very disappointed in this Jethros…the ribs were horrible….so crusted on the outside you could not bite through the meat. No sauce was sent with any of it….the brisket platter had two small slices…
had Jethros in Iowa City 2 weeks ago and it was fabulous…this was extremely disappointing…..the cake looked terrible like someone had made it at home and slapped some icing in the middle…both the top and bottom were going different directions when delivered…."
"Th Amazing Slow Smoked Wings were amazing. Still very juicy and had a nice crisp. I definitely recommend those with the raspberry habanero sauce. The 1/2 Slab 2 meat dinner was just all right. The ribs were pretty tough and didn't have much flavor. You also don't get much meat out of the 2 you get. The sides are very good tho. Especially the jalapeño cream corn and the baked beans. Over all I wish I would have just got the wings with a couple sides instead of paying for the 1/2 slab dinner."

"3 pc. Chicken Big Box Meal was EXCELLENT. It's always good, but this time was perfect. Still warm, the chicken was juicy, the biscuits were fresh. And of course the slaw and potatoes and gravy were yummy. *****"
"What has happened to KFC? It used to be the go to place for fried chicken. We ordered the 3 pc. Chicken Big Box Meals. The chicken was overcooked, dry and tasteless. "I tried this for the first time at their location on Oct 5th. I have had this for dinner 3 night in a row. Seasoning is on point. The cook on the chicken is fantastic. Their take on slaw may be my favorite yet. Awesome portions of food. Having honey and hot honey as condiments is awesome I could eat it on anything. Will be my go to spot for awhile."
"The Dave's #2: 2 Sliders w/ Fries sliders had large pieces of chicken one slider is more than enough. I went with medium heat but will do hot next time it did not have much if any heat that I could taste. The slaw goes well with the sliders. I prefer my crinkle cut fries more crispy than how they prepare theirs. Overall the food was good and I would order again."

"I Love the Rainbow Pancakes they are sooo good even for kids if I were going to eat any breakfast for a month it will be This place!! Yum the cream is so good the sprinkle are mid but good with the cream it's so fluffy! Even the fries with ketchup yum I love how the fries are warm! 5 stars!"
"usually pretty good but today was bad. paper thin flavorless bacon burnt smokes sausage and not well cooked links. the cheesy eggs ive never had before could have better been called a empty molester because maybe a quarter slice of kraft adorned it. wife's The Breakfast Burger was great minus the usual not fully cooked hashbrowns the top was cooked bottom was simply not. otherwise awesome good meat well cooked and assembled. my boys Choc Chip Pancakes were good too no complaints there 2 of 3 is better than many places plus plenty of condiments makes a solid 3 and a half star not bad for American casual breakfast for dinner. would not order the Hearty Man's Combo again it was neither hearty nor manly instead maybe just a The Breakfast Burger as its always good"

"Panang Curry was perfect, 2 Fried Spring Roll were great but the Tiramisu was frozen"
"Eh, it's not bad but it's not good either. it's very sweet the hot level wasn't even warm. the chicken and potatoes are carelessly cut into large chunks making it taste unbalanced. the curry is liquid and tastes like curry paste in water instead of coconut milk. for this price I wouldn't go here again, instead of eat at Thai kitchen which is much cheaper and much better."

"The catfish is delicious. The hush puppies are wonderful and the beans were very good. I only have one complaint and that's the potato salad. Seriously tasted like a spoonful of mustard. That's all I could taste. So, I don't recommend the potato salad but the pasta salad was ok. Overall, it was really good except for that one side dish."
"Ordered the fried chicken and it was overcooked to the point the breading was burnt and the meat itself was super dry and turned to powder in my mouth. Brussels sprouts were way too oily, Mac and cheese side container was less than half full.
Coleslaw was good and that container was filled, unlike the Mac and cheese.
If I want fried chicken next time I'll just go with pizza ranch instead."

"This BBQ is top notch. If you like moist brisket THIS IS THE PLACE. Consistently excellent brisket is one of the hardest challenges for a BBQ restaurant. The jalapeño cheddar sausage is outstanding as well. The pork is very good, but pulled pork is an easier meat to find done right. The price is more expensive than fast food(really not that much any more), but an excellent dinner option when you want real quality. The beans and coleslaw are wonderful side choices. The cornbread is a little crumbly for my taste, but authentic to their style."

"The order was ready quickly and packaged with care. The Pad See Eil was incredible. Like without a doubt the best food I have had off of DoorDash. "We have fallen in love with 888. We've only tried about six of their dishes, but they are all consistently good and the thing we like best is that there are a lot of vegetables in them. They are crunchy and well cooked with just the right amount of meat which I feel like is a little bit unusual in Chinese food. Great place!"
"Amazing and if you go in person the cashier I always get is the sweetest. The serving sizes are unbelievable and even the smaller entrees last three days. Flavor unreal, try the teriyaki skewers and try the lo mein, they are my faves so far. Oh and the sesame chicken is kinda spicy, so if you're into that it's a nice medium of spice and flavor."

"We recently ordered from 30Hop and had the best meal! Our food arrived exactly as we ordered it and looked even better than the pictures. The Salmon Zen Bowl was one of the best rice bowls I've ever had with a large piece of well seasoned salmon and full of many different fresh veggies. The sandwiches were cooked to perfection and loaded with fresh ingredients. The portions were definitely more than we could eat and tasted great the next day. We can't wait to order from 30Hop again and try more of their amazing food! A great location and a must visit if you are in Ankeny!"
"First time customer, and unfortunately, more of the items I ordered were disappointing than enjoyable.
The Wings: Boneless was easily the best item. I actually ended up using it as the protein for the noodle dish because the crispy chicken that came with the Yakisoba Bowl had a strange texture and wasn’t enjoyable. I’m glad I ordered the boneless wings because they gave me an alternative.
The Truffle Fries were also disappointing. You could smell a slight hint of truffle oil, and you could clearly see the cheese on top, but there was very little flavor overall. They tasted bland and didn’t resemble the truffle fries I’ve had elsewhere.
The Very Berry Salad was another miss. The yogurt based dressing (I’m assuming that’s what it was) was extremely sweet. At first, I honestly thought it was a diluted icing because it was that sweet. I couldn’t eat it. The balsamic that came with it was also extremely thick, almost like a paste or molasses. It just didn’t feel appropriate for a lighter salad with fruit. The dressing should complement the dish rather than overpower it.
Unfortunately, overall, this was not a successful purchase, and I wouldn’t order from here again.
One other thing worth mentioning: there was plenty of room in my bag to properly secure it with staples or tape. It’s always disappointing when a restaurant misses that simple opportunity to provide an additional layer of security and reassurance that the order hasn’t been tampered with. Staples and a stapler are inexpensive, so this seems like an easy step that could improve the customer experience."

"Pesto Gnocchi was really oily and running. Lacked presentation big time. Alfredo was bland and spaghetti lacked sauce. Fried Mozzarella was burnt and the bruschetta toast was completely burnt and hard as a rock so we couldn't eat it. Major bummer because we spent $160+ on this place."

"Food was hot and fresh. The quesadilla was smaller than usual, but it's also cheaper as well so the price to portion ratio was very fair. The burrito was delicious and packed with flavor. "Ordered the New York style 18 inch pepperoni, and it was absolutely amazing. The slices were huge, the crust was well baked with a slight char, the toppings were nice and delicious, with just enough grease.
Easily the best New York style pizza in the Des Moines area.
Also ordered the garlic knots, which were also amazing, buttery and crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside, and it goes well with their red dipping sauce .
10/10 highly recommended for those looking for New York style pizza."
"We have been wanting to try Nonas out ever since a review from a ex New Yorker who lives in Des Moines did a tik tok review. She was spot on. This is the best All Meat Pizza we have ever had. Forget other pizzas. Nonas pizzas are very large and full of consistent toppings. The only thing I would add is sauce to dip in. Believe me one maybe two pieces will do you. Another item we tried was the Beef Patties with Cheese. Upon the tik tok reviewers recommendation, it is a pastry filled with a meat mixture and mozzarella cheese. Fantastic flavor. "I ordered the Chicken Strips with Fries (the picture even showed Chicken Strips and Fries), but subbed the Fries with Cheese Balls. They took two chicken strips and put them on bread with bacon, cheese, and some sauce I don't recognize. And I received 10 tiny cheeseballs. The total for just the food was over $20. Waste of money when they can't get a very simple order correct. "The Crab Rangoon Mozzarella Sticks (4 Pieces) were not as pictured but still just as delicious. It's basically just a normal mozzarella stick with sweat and sour sauce. The Ichiban Ramen is just as good as it is when in the restaurant. It comes in two separate containers and you just pour the soup on the noodles. The Tonkatsu Pork is crispy and good."
"The Dragon Roll was delicious. The Ichiban Ramen was ok. While the broth was delicious and the portion size was great, the chasu had more fat than I prefer, making the meat a little chewy.
